Board Member, Jamie Ali, submitted her letter of resignation to the board of the Walters Family Foundation. Jamie is the oldest grandchild of the founders, Glenn and Viola Walters as well as the daughter of Cliff Walters, President. She served for nearly 7 years and was instrumental in conducting some of the first nonprofit site visits. She also served as the Social Media coordinator posting to Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Her creativity, talent, and ingenuity was outstanding, and Jamie will be missed. The Board has appreciated her service, and wishes her well in her new business – The Little Farmer Girl Her new business is similar to her grandfather’s and in that she sells fruit, vegetables, creates flower bouquets, and delivers them to the homes of her customer’s. She recently was featured on the cover in a local magazine, Ladera Ranch Neighbors, with her children, Kai and Makena.
